Material culture is Genevieve's ongoing ceramics project that allows her to experiment in 3D and create objects that she'd like in her own home! She works by hand, mainly pinching and coiling (but also a little bit of slipcasting), and loves how meditative the process is - every decision and movement you make is imprinted on the clay. It's considered and quiet and imperfect and full of joy.
